Born and raised in The Bahamas, Chaz gained an appreciation for the importance of coastal resilience and climate change adaptability. After receiving his engineering degree in Nova Scotia and working out of Ontario, he has expanded his knowledge on different coastal environments in the Great Lakes region and Atlantic Canada. As a water resources designer, Chaz organizes, leads, and participates in projects that promote sustainability.
Chaz’s passion for sustainability has led him to multiple philanthropic opportunities. These include leading the youth arm of the Caribbean Philanthropic Alliance’s Caribbean Tree Planting Project (CTPP) and participating in the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Summit. In January 2020, Chaz led The Sustainable Lifestyle event in The Bahamas that educated, entertained, and inspired over 200 Bahamians about sustainability and our changing climate.
Drawing on his love for aviation, Chaz is both a commercial pilot and conducts drone operations for projects.
